Our Mission
PAWS DART helps pets and their families when disaster strikes, from a local house fire to a severe regional storm. Through compassionate volunteer support, Pet Rescue Kits, essential supplies and coordination with community partners, we help meet immediate animal care needs and ease the stress families face during an emergency. We also provide education and practical resources so pet owners can prepare before the unexpected happens.
Our Vision
We envision communities where every pet is included in emergency planning and families have access to the support they need to keep their animals safe, sheltered and cared for. By bringing volunteers, animal welfare organizations and emergency responders together, we work toward stronger preparedness, coordinated disaster support and a more compassionate recovery for pets and the people who love them.
Prepare before an emergency. Our outreach helps families and Scout groups learn about pet emergency kits, evacuation planning and responsible animal care. Contact us to arrange an educational visit.
